粽香飄飄念端午 趣味活動大家來
同鄉會與FASCA首度舉辦端午節趣味遊戲競賽活動，邀請全家大大小小一起來同樂。刺激又好玩的競賽包括水上吹龍船，端午節必玩的立蛋，和兩人三腳陸地划龍舟。外加包粽子教學與比賽，參賽者可帶自己包的粽子回家。除了動態活動外, 現場也有手工藝教學: 一起來試試如何製作精美的紙粽子，紙龍船, 和香包。
藉由此活動讓住在波特蘭的大家提升並延續傳統禮俗活動的關心與了解，回味家鄉味，並促進彼此交流以及親子同樂的目的。入場卷每人10元，孩童18歲以下免費，*會員優惠價 8元
每張入場卷可兌換台灣美食：粽子，冬瓜茶和茶葉蛋各一個喔！

Taiwanese Association of Greater Portland (TAGP) will be hosting a Dragon Boat Festival (Duan Wu Jie) event to engage community to come and have some fun.
You will have chances to learn the origins of the Dragon Boat Festival, and also get the chance to make Zongzi (bamboo leaf wrap sweet rice with savory filling) and join Zongzi warping competition. Sign up now if you are interested to participate the games!
Other fun activities for kids and parent are:
~ Introduction to legend of dragon boat festival
~ Dragon boat origami and race on water (indoor)
~ Stand an egg
~ Dragon boat race in land (three-legged races)
~ Making sachet origami
Ticket: $10 non-TAGP member; *$8 TAGP member - Ticket at the door
Tickets comes with food redemption: one zongzi, one tea egg and a cup of winter melon tea.
