We know that our culture shapes our health, and is a strength that supports us being healthy and happy. We also know that many of our API communities face serious health disparities, including language barriers and lack culturally competent care. Health care reform is changing how over one million Oregonians will receive care, and impacting some of our most vulnerable community members. Join us for an important community forum and opportunity to engage with policy-makers. We invite community members, health professionals, faith leaders, and individuals who seek to share and learn about how the Asian and Pacific Islander community can engage in health equity. |
